Pulsatilla cernua (Thunberg) Spreng. var. koreana (Nakai) Y. Lee comb. nov.
Pulsatilla koreana's are yellow pasqueflowers or windflowers, and they are
called yellow grandma flowers ("Norang Halmi-ggod") in Korean. The flower is
a perennial that is in the order and family of Ranunculus japonicus (better
known as buttercup).
More common are the dark red ones but the yellow grandma flower, maybe
thanks to its golden colour, stands proud and confident, shining with the
elegance of nobility. |
