The T'angchundae-song fortress was built in August 1718 (in the 44th year of King Sukjong) and completed in spring the following year, near Segomjong, Seoul and was named so as the area was near called T'angchundae. The fortress (checkpoint) connects the Seoul palace walls and the Pukhansan-song Fortress.
