Chrysanthemum zawadskii Herb. ssp. Coreanum (Nakai) Y. Lee
Chrysanthemum zawadskii is a perennial that grows in the high mountain areas of Mt. Halla, on Cheju Island in Korea. Red as a bud, the flower turns pink when in blossom, and changes to white when it withers. The way the colors of its petals change as time goes by seems to represent the life of a human being.
