With the start of the Korean pro baseball season Friday, the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation announced that it would give away rice to batters who either hit home runs over the 'Rice Zone' outfield wall or simply hit it at Samsung baseball stadium. The event is aimed at increasing the nation's continually falling rice consumption.
