The newest addition over the Han River, the 1,603m long and 29m wide Gayang Bridge, connecting Gayang-dong, Gangseo-gu, and Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, will open to traffic on January 23. Opening the bridge will ease the heavy congestion on the Seongsan and Yanghwa bridges, greatly improving traffic conditions.
