The Crater Lake of Mount Baekdu

Mount Baekdu is the background for the Korean national foundation myth and is a spiritual mountain for all Korean people. The highest mountain on the Korean peninsula stands 2,744 meters above sea level and at its top lies a crater lake . It is situated at 128 degrees longitude east and 42 degrees latitude north.
