Pepper Pot Soup "Maeun-tang"

Peppered fish pot soup's taste is both hot and cool, and Koreans really like the contradictory harmony of the dish with the cold fish and spicy soup, especially when drinking. The soup is also considered a health food, containing fish, vegetables, parsley, and thick soy-paste mixed with red peppers and powdered red pepper. The dish uses a variety of fish which entails name changes such peppered mandarin fish pot soup and catfish pot soup to name just a couple of the more popular flavors in Korea.

Peppered mandarin pot soup is popular, because mandarin fish taste of sesame oil and contain a lot of protein, calcium, iron and vitamins. Sweet fish, for pepper pot soup, can be found in the Sumjin River.

How to cook pepper pot soup
Put the ingredients in a pot, bring them to the boil and cover with a lid. You may also put some herbal medicine in the soup as well as it will help in restoring health. Lots of parsley is used, because it helps remove the fishy smell of the soup and also cleans up and neutralizes heavy metals, and protects organs. Parsley is an herb that has many healthy properties.
