World Food Culture Festival
rom time immemorial, Jeonnam Province has been called the ¡®Province of Taste¡¯ and every autumn, during Korean ¡®Thanks Giving¡¯ there are two festivals; the Kimchi and Southern food festivals, where the idea is to cook and share food with ones neighbors. From October 18-21, visitors will be able to taste food from around the world, especially at the Southern Food Festival, which will be hosted by Gwangju.
The event offers Korean food such as Kimchi in addition to other international foods from China, Japan, Europe and South American. Included in the event, there will also be a Tableware Exhibition, a Korean Temple Food Exhibition and other food related things on display.
There will also be a variety of cultural events organized as well as a performance of ¡®Nanta,¡¯ along with folk entertainers from Spain, China and other countries.

Place: Nakaneupseongminsok Vilage, Suncheon, Jeonnam Province
How to get there: From Seoul¡¯s Gangnam Express Bus Terminal take the bus to Beolkyo. Travel time is four and a half hours and buses depart twice a day (9:10am and 4:00pm)
